Before I do this, I would like to tell you all that I haven't been raiding for the good part of 2-3 months; so maybe with this you can see the reason for my gear. I also have decided to go ahead with the layout of an application form; as I feel it will be alot more useful and easy to read rather than me writing what I can think of about myself as a person. Im 17, currently in college studying human biology in Worcester. Outside WoW I enjoy football, rugby, and drinking. In WoW I enjoy reading about my class, having fun and raiding new content as soon as its released. The only goals I really have in real life is to eventually become a surgeon, and my goals in WoW are really just to meet new people, friends who i'll keep in touch with and have fun; doing this by hardcore raiding :) What do you find most rewarding in the game? Defeating bosses which you could actually see the progression on, and honestly thats one of the reasons why I cant feel WotLK being such a great success What do you find most frustrating in the game? Making money (Although I do get it done), wiping due to the same silly mistake over and over annoys me somewhat :) Explain, what boss is the hardest one you have been on? and why? Lich King Heroic (25), although I havent killed him yet i've gotten mid-phase 2, and even up to there it requires high dedication, high thinking on your feet, and alot of communication and organisation. Explain, why do you think your current talent build fits you and how does it benefit the guild? My current talent build is the common combat spec; it is very viable when it comes to multiple targets and deals alot of poison damage while white hits are still crazy, it also brings a 4% melee debuff to the raid when I apply poisons. Any good offspec gear? and are you comfortable playing any other spec/roles then the one you are applying with? I have a few daggers i've picked up and I suppose I can play assassination although combat is by far the most desired! Knowledge and theorycraft. Do you read theory about your class? How do you keep yourself up to date? Which sites and forums do you visit? I read http://elitistjerks.com/f78/ everyday, sometimes contributing with my own theorycrafting, and I read every blue post concerning rogues on http://blue.mmo-champion.com/ (: Can you give us a little information about your computer hardware and the internet connection you're currently using ? Well, just so you know I am upgrading pieces individually over the months as I get the money in, but with this setup I run fine at 25-30 FPS Graphics Card - Nvidia Geforce 9800 GTX Processor - AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 Dual Core (2 CPUs) 2.8GHz Memory - 4gb DDR2 What times are you available and on which days? Sunday - Monday: 17:00-01:00 Friday - Saturday: 13:00-Whenever I usually play around 2 hours a day when not raiding (farming, alts etc) Can you tell us a bit about your gaming history? Which guilds were you a part of before applying here and why did you leave? Requiem (Arathor) - Quit the game after Ulduar, came back and they were a social guild Synergy (Arathor) - Mix of Velvet Glove and Ambivalence, officer'd by Reprieve/Epeenz, quit to join Insignificant as raiding wasnt going as well as i hoped Insignificant (The-Maelstrom) - Constantly had 5- fps in raids, it was getting really frustrating and annoying to raid so I quit. Can you give us a link to the DKP site of your last guild? Was loot council, so no unfortunately Can you give us a link to a WWS log or WoL? I dont have access to the WoL anymore as its private What's your raiding experience? (Talking is optional but prefered if you can) Yes, and I know when to hold my mouth :o Do you know any people that might be able to vouch for you? Unfortunately none that I am aware. Well I should have said, but I recently reformatted my computer (upgrading to Windows 7) and to my surprise, my FPS is now fine. |

Hey, nice application. The pre-wotlk experience is slightly lacking, but hey, that's ancient history anyway. Your gear is reasonable, but not amazing. Heroic DBW is always a plus, though. Unfortunatly, we are going to decline you. Our current rogue squad consists of 3 rogues at the moment, 2 of which are currently a trial, but we don't feel like your application gives us a reason to cut one of the trials short to grant you a spot.
