Been trying it the last couple of raids. Looks very solid. It has pretty much all the features PowerAuras has, plus a ton more, is more lightweight and a lot easier to customize.

Memory usage doesn't affect performance much (except for load times, but the options aren't even loaded at login anyways).

The options is a separate addon. In only takes that much memory because the huge amount of settings it actually has. The WeakAuras addon itself, doesn't use much memory.

Discovered today that you can export/import these via chat links. Making them super easy to share.
