You are obviously one of the top guilds on WoW. That is why I would like to invite some of your top members to be a part of a new wow project website, that a bunch of us from several different servers started up. We are looking for the best of the best to be on our volunteer staff team. Basically, our site is going to allow people from all different servers to ask any type of wow related question, and we are going to have a large staff team that specialize in answering certain types of questions(mage department, priest department, achievement department, etc). This will all be done through an advanced ticket system on the staff’s end, and a simple, small form on the user’s end. I do apologize if this message is unwelcome. I am not trying to spam your forums. I just found your guild to be qualified to be part of this, and this seems to be the best way to reach out to you guys. Please keep in mind, I am not asking your whole guild to volunteer for this, just people that want to, and really know their stuff in the department they are applying to. If this sounds like something you may be interested in being part of, we would love to have you. Here is the link if you are interested: http://www.wowremedy.com

As we have just launched this site, we are looking for many volunteers right now. This project is a brand new and unique idea to World of Warcraft websites world-wide.
Isn't this just like AJ and EJ except without the vast userbase?
With both AJ and EJ you have to make a post, and wait for someone that is actually credible reply. You have to worry about phrasing your question right so you don't get flamed. After a while, you'll finally get a bunch of replies, but most of them will contradict each other then people will start argueing with each other of which is the right answer. Then, you basically have to wait until someone you KNOW is good replies to your topic, otherwise you have to do more research just to make sure the most accurate reply you get is credible, if you can even pick it out within the flame war.
Also with AJ, there are still s1 glads that still have access, when they no longer get glad titles for recent seasons, answering arena questions in the Glad section.
With both sites you get that elitist attitude from people "helping you" that makes you want to drive a nail through your head just to have to deal with people like that.

Sounds to me like volunteering would basically guarantee you tons of identical questions with zero thought behind them at all. Given a large enough user base, if there is no need to phrase questions intelligently, you'll end up with questions phrased as if they were made by monkeys throwing the keyboard into the wall repeatedly to make letters appear on-screen.
--- What's the best spec? Rate my gear! Why is my DPS only x?
I have more than enough experience with people asking for help regarding game/class mechanics to know that these questions, and more, will be asked, again and again, without enough information to really give any good answer, without the player understanding the answer (or even his own question), etc.
I also noticed that, upon submitting a question, it's possible to set the urgency for the ticket. Let's just say I have my doubts about people using that option in a manner worth spending time on.

Not at all. It sounds like Lactose has had some bad experience with them. This might a refreshing awakening for you if that's your belief behind an idea like this.
