what's the purpose though? my original version seems to work just fine, even the music is working!
it's not the deluxe version I got though.

does a lot of new features actually make it better though? look at CS:S

(I haven't tried it though but usually when ppl make remakes they tend to over do it.)

Yes. It makes it tons better than the original and it's still the same good old game.
