Not a new game but Age of Conan just turned free to play if anyone cares.

When i look through the restrictions, if you want to raid or something, you kinda have to be premium.

Installed it when it became F2P, played for 5 minutes and the uninstalled it. Pretty much seemed like a shit version of WoW.

I case someone missed it, Valve holding a DOTA2 tournament at gamescom where the winner takes home $1,000,000, yep that's ONE MILLION DOLLARS. It will be the first official reveal of DOTA2 gameplay and the 16 best DotA teams are invited and have been given an early version of the game to practice for about a month before the tournament.

Meanwhile, here are some leaked screenshots..
First impressions from screenshot is that the HP bars are stupid as shit. They are divided by every 200hp so if you see someone have f.e. 2 bars left he has 400hp left. Art style is fine I guess. Doesn't look like there is a proper scoreboard, maybe they are going the LoL way where you have to hold tab for scoreboard to show.

I pre-ordered Overgrowth and Natural Selection 2 a few years back and didn't pay much attention to the development of either games but I recently started checking up on how Overgrowth was coming along and here are some videos!

The indie developers behind it hang out on their forums often and sometimes stuff users has made or suggested even gets implemented in the new weekly alpha builds.
I am going to install Windows later on tonight to play around some with the alpha since the Linux client got delayed. :(
