I played some korean version of this game, and it looks fucking awesome.

Also, in combat, your mouse locks to your camera, so you can't click rend while keyboard turning :)

I can be a fat raccoon?

This seems rather interesting (from FAQ, question 2)

Quote:
No more point-and-click or repetitive cycling through a palette of spells and skills. Rather than locking onto targets automatically, the position of your character and the timing of attacks, blocks, and dodges determine the outcome of each confrontation. As a result, combat is more intuitive, exciting, and realistic.
In TERA, players impact the world directly, dictating the flow of the economy and maneuvering through a dynamic political system. Players are free to choose their alliances and enemies

How true is this (the combat)? And how well does it work? How do spells/abilities work?

Is there player to player collision?

Also, most importantly, how free is pvp?

Edit: WTF?

Can't tell anything about pvp :(

You have to run up to a mob to hit it (played only melee class), and actually face it. You can't move through, the mob "blocks" you. I'm not sure if players are able to do this to, a lot of griefing potential :D But it would be cool for example to protect a flag carrier that way.

When the mob is about to hit you, (check boss animation) and you have to either move out (strafe) or use skills (warriors get a sort of "dive" at lvl 2) to dodge. "Autoattack" is clicking left mouse, and you will swing your sword. Your swings restore "mana", which you can use for your abilities.

You can combo attacks, when you time your skills correctly.

When you for example play lancer, a class with a shield, you have to raise your shield (press C) when the mob swings to actually block. No block percentages in this game.
