Real money selling already is happening, this just lets people not get fucked over. And to be honest, beeing hardcore players as most people here would probably consider themselves you should love this change. Just get a group of talented friends, kill some hard stuff and instead of disenchanting loot you get your vent hosting paid for or something.
I don't think anything will really sell for real money and if you cant put stuff up with a gold and $ buyout simultaneously, I doubt this is even really gonna be a big part of the game.
Still looking forward to D3!

long read, but I was pretty depressed about the prospects of future blizzard products after that.

There is no doubt that Kotick is an evil cunt and is destroying gaming with his boundless greed. He needs to die from cancer sooner rather then later. So far all his bullshit haven't really affected me, but if it ever does then he will surely not get my money.
Diablo III still looks like a hell of a game though! Definitely gonna buy it. Ain't paying a dollar more than what the box costs though, and if that limits my experience then it's the last game I buy from them.

In case anyone missed. Closed beta started last night and invites for first wave are still being sent out. Won't always get a mail, check bnet account and it should be listed under account summary.
