if its for xmas then dont even think about the setup right now. there will be at least a new line of gpus out by then and likely intel will release a new line of cpus REALLY early next year (like january) which you should wait for if its just a month |

but usualy all the new stuff is more expensive then the stuff thats a bit older and still good quality, i dont have a big bag of cash to spend on new pc, its not like im gonna get the pc and have to buy it myself, and cash doesnt come easy. im aware that when xmass comes this config wont be rly highend or uber upt to date but thats not the point i want a decent machine to use it for couple of years, and good performance : cash spend ratio. so any suggestions on what could be better at this config as it is posted are welcome |

Thing is, the lower end new stuff is both better and less expensive then higher end old stuff, usually. So the most economical way is to buy the lower end stuff just as its released. |

I usually upgrade my pc every 4-5 years with the current best price/power ratio. My last upgrade is now 3 years ago and i currently have a dual core e8200, 4gb ddr2 and a nvidia 9600GT. For me my system is still fast enough, the graphics card could use an upgrade though. |

Almost twice the price, almost twice the performance... In most games anyway. |

Thinking about buying an SSD, do I have to be a computer specialist to set it up? |

The power consumption of two 550ti would surely be highier than a 560ti so if you go for the SLI set up so it'd be worth checking to see if you'll need to upgrade your PSU. |
