Mentioned this show a few months back somewhere when it premiered. The first few episodes weren't very good but it took a sudden turn and went completely awesome after a few episodes.
Spartacus: Blood and Sand
Awesome:
Massively influenced by 300
Good story
Awesome action scenes
Believable characters, most of them at least
Blood, lots of blood
Boobs, lots of boobs!
Not so awesome:
Slow start
Occasional penises
Actor playing the main character was diagnosed with cancer and season two is delayed until he recovers

Fucking hell, I thought that killing off Rita would kill off his feelings for good and become more of the badass he is in the books. He just turned into an even bigger wimp now.. I am disappoint.
The kids also make no sense compared to the books. :(

Haven't read the Dexter books, but I really don't like the touchy feely kinda shit in S4. I guess most shows go downhill after a few seasons
