stance dance to battle stance -> have 25 rage -> heroic strike (no crit) -> have 10 rage -> rend -> have 0 rage -> be starved in case Bloodrage is on CD. Might have to wait for 2 seconds for a white swing if you are really unlucky with the timing. |

Can't you just track the main hand swing timer and swap stances just after you get a heroic strike hit in and be back in zerk stance by the time the next swing hits? Its just 1 gcd in battle stance is it not? |

you need 2 GCDS to switch to battle stance -> cast rend -> switch back to zerker, thus at least 3 seconds of other abilities on cooldown (WW / BT). If you need to wait for swings or other funky stuff chances are your next ability will be ready in less then those 3 seconds, and thus making you unable to rend |

2 GCDs? You swap stances and instantly rend, gcd for stance change is ticking. 1.5 (haste etc) later you swap back into zerker? Sure it will take 1 more GCD to get stance change off cd, but that doesnt much matter does it? :S |

For me at least, on bear form abilities I always have 1.5sec GCD, on cat form abilities I always have 1sec GCD, on feral faerie fire my GCD depends on my haste (about 1.3sec I guess), and on mangle in bear form I always got 1sec GCD. |

Since stances are on different gcds from normal abilities this would be the timeline: T= 0 Battle stance T= 0.1(delay or something) Rend T= 1.6 (delay again) Berzerker Stance T= 1.7 (added even more delay) Facerape T= 3.1 Stances off CD Or am I completely missing something? With that timeline it should be possible to stance dance just after a hit and be back in proper stance and press HS within one swing timer as long as you dont have a main hand swing timer of less than say 2s. I'ts probably not the bestest idea to do when you need to be thinking about other things aswell if the returns in dps arent very big, but I think it can safetly be done. |
