Awesome enigma, got already most of the info i need for my pc. Can't afford 450 euro on a gpu though, what would be the best alternative in the ~250 euro region? Or is the 480 gonna drop to that price level within 1-2 months?

Either a GTX460 or a HD5850, Siph.
I actually think GTX460 outperforms HD5750 even though GTX is cheaper. I can't quite recall though so feel free to Google for some reviews. Word on the street is that GTX460 gives you the most bang for your buck and is plenty good for all new games as long as you don't go crazy on the ultra settings with anti-aliasing :>
Edit: Highly doubt GTX480 will drop in price anytime soon, it might get replaced by GTX485 in the near future, at the same price range though, probably.
Edit: typo

Just want to repeat myself a little. You should read up on the S-ATA III Mior. Afaik there is absolutely no reason to get it, because no hdd can take advantage of it yet. Hell, hard drives can't even max out the S-ATA II interface yet. No need with and interface that pumps 750 mb/sec when your hdd can't pump more than ~300.

New pc threads are always awesome Isn't the 5850 a really good choice around 250 euros?

Seems like a firmware limitation if you ask me. Also to my knowledge sequential reading is exactly what you don't use when for example booting up your OS and playing wow etc.
Have you seen other tests with s-ata III disks performing better in the same way?
I'll read the review and see if I get any smarter.

ASUS P6X58D got 6gbps s-ata anyway so doesn't really matter though, if you go for that mother board that is :>

About the CPU.. WoW's fps is mostly CPU-limited, so an i7 might help you there over an i5 (until now at least, dunno how its gonna be in cata)
