Semi-serious post:

I got this awesome vision of mankind eventually making some kind of robots that replace (yeye, robot apocalypse, totally clichÃ© and all that shit!) will replace humans eventually.
Because you know several points that would make this awesome:
- You can actually back-up shit if it's computer based robots, brain back-up, pff like that's ever gonna happen.
- It's a way of creating life, it could be some kind of life philosophy for humans or the "purpose of life": to create new life? Why not in the form of artificial intelligence?
- If we would ever reach something near the speed of light, our puny human bodies probably wouldn't be able to withstand that, and if we were to make space travel to the nearest star at light speed (Alpha Centauri), it would still take us 4.2 (?) years. If we were to make longer and further travels, we would probably age and die. Some kind of AI or robot would/could probably extend its own life infinitely?
- Why am I not working towards this goal? Well, because I have an utter lack of self discipline to try and even achieve something in this fucked up world + I'm nowhere near smart enough nor do I have the available resources to do so. I rather go by my live to be happy philosophy and just be selfish in general.

There's probably some cons as well, like the utter mass extinction of mankind because the AI goes apeshit and thinks we're evil or whatever but in the end it would all be for the greater good anyway! Probably alot more but I'm too lazy to come up with any and I'll leave that up to you guys if you even feel the remote need to comment on my post.
