Where it is at the moment, I wouldnt play it. I have played CS for a 'competitive level' for a long time, (only been playing cs 1.6, 1.5 - never been playing source other than a few mixes, gathers etc) the movement in promod just pisses me off completely, its exactly like source, which I dont like. I really hope they keep the oldschool style

Promod 1.03 was fail, 1.04 is starting to look like a game. There are still some issues with smokes, recoil/bullet patterns and a few bugs. There are new models on their way that will make shit feel less CSSish. Check cspromod.com for the video of the new models, which look alot like the 1.6 ones only less shit

Comparing promod to cs1.6 is like comparing other mmo's to wow Sure it looks nice and all, but it's just not cs1.6.

YET. The aim is for it to be a (less buggy) cs1.6 on the source engine. TBH I think theyre doing a fair job so far, but seeing how long its taken them to get this far, I guess the source engine will be as outdated as the unreal one or whatever 1.6 is built on is today... It's so sad that there are no "real" companies getting involved in making proper esport platforms and not just games

Mass Effect 2 is probably the best singleplayer experience I'ver had, and having been single for a while now, I've had quite a few. Protip: Make the hottest looking Shepherd you can, you're gonna be staring at that ass for around 25 hours.

You mean launching probes for 20 hours, then 5 hours of staring.

The story in the first Mass Effect was so much better than the second one, going to be awesome when they tie it all up for the third game though. ps. best FemShep! http://i48.tinypic.com/5n6t60.jpg
